Is jade and jadeite the same?
Jade is a broad term that refers to two distinct natural gemstones: jadeite and nephrite.

Will jadeite change colour over time?
No, natural Type A jadeite does not change colour over time.
Any dullness is usually caused by surface build-up from daily wear, especially around the jewellery setting.

Does jadeite break easily?
No, jadeite does not break easily. It is a durable gemstone suitable for everyday wear.
However, like all fine jewellery, it should be handled with care as significant impact may cause chips, cracks, or breakage.
How to clean my jadeite?
Jadeite is durable and easy to care for. No special cleaning is required: Simply wipe gently with a soft cloth to keep its natural lustre.
For diamonds and 18K gold settings, gently clean with water and a soft toothbrush when needed, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Avoid large impact or dropping the piece, as this may cause chips or cracks.
Can I wear jadeite jewellery every day?
Yes, you can. Natural Grade A jadeite is durable and suitable for daily wear, with a Mohs hardness of around 6.5 to 7.
Beyond its beauty, jadeite is also worn for its meaningful symbolism of protection, health, and good fortune.

How much is delivery?
We offer complimentary free shipping for all local and overseas orders.
How long will items take to reach me?
For Singapore customers, estimated 1-2 business days.
For International customers, estimated 5-10 business days depending on location.
A tracking number will be provided to you once the order has been packed and shipped. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any concerns.
Exchange & Returns
What is your exchange policy?
Online shopping in ClassicJade should be pleasant, hence we are providing all our valued customers with a 7 days appreciation period. Within this period, if you are not satisfied with the product, we provide returns for store credit. Please note that store credit will be given to you for your next purchase.
We apologise that we are unable to do cash refunds.
How do I know if my purchase is eligible for return?
Returns for store credit can be done within 7 days of the appreciation period. Returns/Exchange will not be entertained once it is past the stipulated date.
The item must be:
- In the same condition as received
- Not damaged, scratched, altered, or tampered with
- Returned in its original packaging
Items that are damaged or not returned in their original condition may not be accepted for return.
