Mo Cui Jade Pendant

Grade A Mo Cui jade pendant with great lustre and translucency. The jadeite appears black, but exhibits a beautiful imperial green hue when shone through a light source. The quality is high with fine jade grains and extremely rich water content, therefore the entire jadeite pendant appears shiny and glossy. Clarity is excellent with no crack lines to note. This is also popularly known as Mo Cui (墨翠) in Chinese, a premium quality for black omphacite jadeite. This jadeite pendant is rare with great dimensions – diameter at more than 27mm with uniform thickness at 4.9mm thickness. An icy green jadeite leaf is specially selected to match the Mo Cui pendant for strong colour contrast. This beautiful round shaped jadeite is also known as 平安无事牌 in Chinese, which means safety and good blessings. Elegantly designed in 18k white gold.
