Snowflakes Icy Jade Goldfish Pendant

Grade A snowflakes icy jade goldfish pendant with excellent lustre and clarity. The quality is superb with fine jade grains and excellent translucency. This is an absolutely beautiful piece from Mother Nature with natural snowflakes patterns within the icy jade. The carvings are also very delicate and lively, depicting a scenic view of a pair of goldfishes swimming in a round pool of clear water with lotus flower. On the back of jade, there are four Chinese characters 金玉满堂 which means wealth and abundance.  This piece of snowflakes icy jade is very rare and has investment grade for seasoned collectors. Goldfish in chinese character is 金鱼, which has similar pronunciation to 金玉满堂 （wealth and abundance). The character 莲 for lotus has similar pronunciation to character 连 meaning “in succession or one after another”, as in expressing year after year. So the fish, together with the lotus would imply wealth and abundance year after year. In Chinese culture, a lotus symbolises beauty, longevity and holiness. It is therefore one of the most favourite flowers among Chinese.
