Grade A icy jade Ruyi necklace with excellent lustre and translucency. Though small, this jade Ruyi belongs to top quality icy jade with very fine jade grains. It has a strong fluorescence, with a natural glow radiating within the jadeite. The necklace is also matched with 4 small, yet top quality glassy jade cabochons.
Certification for this jadeite pendant by Nan Yang Gemological Institute (http://www.ngi.com.sg/), a reputable and independent Singapore gem testing lab, is available upon request.
The head of the Ruyi is similar to that head of the Lingzhi (fungus of immortality), which represents good health and longevity. Ruyi, in chinese characters 如意 also implies “get what you wish”, symbolises good luck and wishes.
