Jadeite is highly demanded and is exclusively sourced from Myanmar, formerly Burma, hence it is widely known as “Burmese Jade”. It is rich in heritage and widely believed to have spiritual meanings in the Chinese culture. Jade is believed to protect the person who wears it.
Goldfish in chinese character is 金鱼, which has similar pronunciation to 金玉满堂 （wealth and abundance). The character 莲 for lotus has similar pronunciation to character 连 meaning “in succession or one after another”, as in expressing year after year. So the fish, together with the lotus would imply wealth and abundance year after year.
